ATHLETICS
GVHS athletics incorporates a fitness program along with team sports. The athletic program will allow students to develop the skills inherent to interscholastic athletics as they participate in team and individual sports. Non-traditional physical fitness activities, such as sailing, hiking, indoor rock climbing, cycling tai chi and yoga could also be offered. Students will not only get exercise and find ways for success on the field, but they will also have opportunities to develop lifelong athletic pursuits that teach teamwork, communication skills, and the qualities of sportsmanship commended to us in our motto: Work Hard. Be Kind. Take Risks.
